Wild Nights Ending

That was last night. Not much has happened today. Turned out that Phyllis made it home alright, and decided not to go home with Ahmed. Apparently quiet guys who ooze competence just arenUt her type, she prefers brasher, louder men. Weird, but everyones got their tastes, I guess. Steffan left (thank god). I tried 3 limes at once, and it was actually sort of fun. A rush like a roller coaster gives you but much slower, sort of like a wave crashing over you. Still, not that enjoyable. I got enough of a taste to understand why people have lots of limes at once, I can see how that would be very euphoric, but the amounts I took (maybe .2 liters at once) just weren't very interesting or fun, and that was the amount that Phyllis was taking, although she would do it every hour or two because it wears off so quickly. So i was not unhappy to have tried it, it being life experience and all, but it ain't my thing at all. I don't particularly recommend it, tho there's no harm in trying. By the way, my course of action - getting a liter of coca-cola and having it all in a 30 or so hour period with some friends, was suggested by Mike from the BSM program, and it was good advice.

We still haven't gotten a hold of the herbal tea and espirin we ordered, apparently W___ just has Cola on hand, and has to get that stuff from someone else, and hasn't been able to get in touch with them. We are going to Prague tomorrow, so if we don't get it by tonight, we'll just give up, I think. We do have the one espirin that Phyllis got at the club, so we may just split it between the 3 of us tonight.

So like I said, things have been wild. Drinking Cola, meeting Rug Dealers, and so forth. Wow. I won't be sad if things calm down a bit for the last 10 days of this vacation - sitting around all day drinking herbal tea and contact juggling may not be exciting to write to y'all about, but it sure would be relaxing for a couple of days. One of the mysteries I have not yet unravelled is what Ahmed's other RjobsS are. I mean, he has two jobs as a waiter, but the man is smooth, quiet, professional, and well-connected - all things which hint strongly that there is something else going on. I really have no idea what that could be, I have no hard information, and its possible that he is just a waiter who hangs out with bouncers. Maybe my imagination is running wild after meeting carpet sellers and such. Still, my spidey-sense tingles around him, and it tells me that there are criminal connections back there somewhere.
