I finished my last Stanford task this morning, and unless something goes terribly wrong (always possible) am done, done, done. Yeah, I know many of you can reply "Well, that's *doctor* Johnson to you, young fella, but let me glory briefly in my attainment of increased-acronym academic nirvana.

Life has been a lot less stressful since my projects were finished, Ive been devouring pulp fantasy like mad and working on all the routine tasks that had been piling up. Im about to unpack from my trip to China a few months ago, and I've one straight from sunless computer gnome pallor to sunburn, thanks to yesterdays outdoor rock climbing trip. I have plenty to do, of course, (there are nations to be founded), but its nice not having any urgent deadlines and to be focusing on things I am more interested in.
