Greetings from the Orient (3/29/03)

Patri & Dawn bring greetings and hopefully no viral drug-resistant pneumonia to you from the fabled east. There must be a lot of nurses around, everyone wears facemasks, especially on the subway. Here in Hong Kong the cellphones are tiny and the buildings are huge - we are surrounded by skyscrapers almost everywhere. Five stories has begun to look puny, and Patri feels tall when there aren't tourists around.

We've attempted to spy on y'all utilizing the omniscient internet, but the page doesn't seem to be updating. If that could be fixed, and some never-ending parade of excitement occured in the dining room, well, that would be fabulous.

We went to a great gay club last night, which had 5 stripper poles around the dancefloor. The club was deserted, so we jammed on the equipment. What fun! Where shall we put ours? Dawn wants to know if it's up already - it having been a month.

We miss our home the lodge, and will be returning soon, bearing pictures and stories (there might be allergies to frankincense and myrrh).
