I've decided to finally become a true american. I'm gonna get me some guns, and learn how to use 'em. If I'm actually going to live in some wacky place like Costa Rica, Somalia, or a giant platform floating in the ocean, I should learn how to defend myself. Seems like a basic survival skill.

After an expert consultation with Russell I'm going to start with a 4-day handgun course at Front Sight in nevada. After that I think rifle (thirty ought six), then shotgun. That should be a good set of fundamentals.
