I'm in Maui for the week, visiting some friends. Simon's Journal has some of yesterdays horsing around. Mostly we've been just hanging out here, I tried surfing for the first time yesterday but the waves were barely worthy of the name. Hopfully we'll get some good hiking in on the volcano, and maybe try windsurfing.

Although I haven't journaled for awhile, I really have been doing exciting things. Expect backdated journals on my Neon New Year in Vegas, and my January in the Sierra's becoming certified as a Wilderness EMT to appear soon.

Meanwhile, my housemate Rob & I, along with some friends, have formed a team for The Jackpot Game. Its a cross between a scavenger hunt and a puzzle-solving contest, with maybe a smidgeon of IL game thrown in. Sounds like a lot of fun. The previous game by this team is well-documented at The 420 Game site. Anyway, mostly I bring this up because there is some content for you to enjoy: our video application , put together by editing wizard Charles Rhee to the immortal music of Carl Orff.
