Intro: Being a young, idle, neer-do-well, Patri gets to do a fair amount of traveling, sometimes to exotic locales like Europe and the World Series of Poker. He also finds himself in a lot of strange and interesting situations. He used to email stories of his adventures to his friends, although in the past few years he has switched to blogging. Hence this section, where those misguided folk who do not subscribe to the Patri Mailing List or read Patri's LiveJournal can see what they've been missing.

For several reasons, these stories have been modified from their original form. First, there is a difference between what I am willing to disclose to my friends and what I am willing to put online for any yahooing yoboo to see. When the reputations of others are involved, for example, names and details are sometimes changed.
